QUAKERTOWN, PA — Dr. Gordon Roeder, a longtime family dentist, recently celebrated 30 years of providing patients quality, comfortable dentistry to resolve problems big or small.
Dr. Roeder began practicing dentistry in Quakertown in July of 1987. He then went on to open Dream-Dentistry & Sleep Care in 2000. He has lived in Quakertown, Pennsylvania, his entire life and has treated many patients for 30 years now.
“It’s such a privilege to serve this wonderful community, and the last 30 years have truly flown by for me,” Dr. Roeder said. “I’m grateful that so many great people here have entrusted my team and I to handle their dental care, whether that’s preventing cavities or completely rebuilding their smile.”
To celebrate his 30 years of dentistry, Dr. Roeder invited his longtime patients to comment on his Facebook page and to share their stories at his office. Dr. Roeder has spent his 30 years of dentistry developing elite clinical skills and even developing his own treatments. He is a leader in sleep apnea treatment and helping patients resolve their issues with missing teeth.
To help patients with missing teeth, Dr. Roeder created a system called the Comfort Lock Implant Bridge, which can be placed in one visit and easily removed by the patient for cleaning.
“Throughout my entire career, I have always put my focus on where I see the biggest need,” said Dr. Roeder, who has completed more than 4,000 hours in continuing education.
“I’ll continue to look for even more modern and comfortable ways to treat patients until the day I retire.”
Dream-Dentistry & Sleep Care is a spacious dental practice with state-of-the-art technology. The Quakertown dental team can treat patients of all dental complications, including sleep problems and missing teeth.
Dr. Roeder attended the prestigious Juniata College, a liberal arts college in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania. He earned his dental degree from Temple University and completed his residency at Sacred Heart Hospital. Dr. Roeder caters to fearful or anxious patients by providing sedation dentistry, a skill he acquired through continuing education with the University of Pittsburgh Medical & Dental School.
Dream-Dentistry & Sleep Care provides multiple dental implant options for patients with missing teeth. As part of his oral surgery services, Dr. Roeder can place dental implants for patients with single missing teeth or those missing entire arches of teeth.
Sleep apnea treatment became a priority for Dr. Roeder after he was diagnosed with severe obstructive sleep apnea in 2005. Sleep apnea is a condition that causes pauses in breathing and has been found to increase the risk of problems like heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. If left untreated, sleep apnea can be fatal. Dr. Roeder was one of the large percentage of sleep apnea patients who could not tolerate a CPAP machine. He now wears an oral appliance to nearly eliminate his sleep apnea symptoms. The appliance positions the lower jaw forward to keep the airways open during sleep. Dr. Roeder is a leading health provider in the Quakertown area for sleep apnea patients who cannot tolerate a CPAP machine and need other options.
